Location and Timing

Investigations works commence from Sunday 24 March and take around four weeks to complete at the following locations;

  • South Road, between Caulfield Avenue, Clarence Gardens and Regent Street, Melrose Park.
  • Edward Street, between South Road and Lowe Street, Melrose Park.
  • Raglan Avenue, between South Road and Railway Terrace, Edwardstown.
  • Ackland Street, Edwardstown.

To minimise impacts on traffic, works will be carried out Sunday to Thursday between 7pm and 6am. We’re working at night to minimise impacts on traffic and to ensure the safety of our workers.

Traffic Restrictions

  • Temporary traffic and speed restrictions will apply in the vicinity of the works.
  • Signage will be in place to alert road users to the changes in traffic conditions. Road users are advised to take care when travelling through the area.
  • Short-term lane and footpath closures will be required to complete this work, please observe signage for detours in place.

What to expect

During works you may notice additional ground and traffic management personnel and equipment within the area. Some disturbances can be expected such as noise, dust and vibration caused by short term excavation and drilling works.
