Safety has been improved for people crossing Grange Road following the opening of a new pedestrian actuated crossing (PAC) between Hallett Boulevard and Coombe Road, Allenby Gardens.

The South Australian Government and the T2D Alliance have signed the contract to purchase three tunnel boring machines (TBMs) from world-leading manufacturer Herrenknecht and revealed plans for two smaller TBMs also to come to excavate between the main tunnels.

Road users will be able to enjoy a smoother and safer ride on a northern stretch of South Road, following the completion of resurfacing works between James Congdon Drive, Mile End South and Ashwin Parade, Thebarton.

Major works have commenced to install a second left turn lane from Manton Street into Adam Street, Hindmarsh.

The largest and most complex infrastructure project in South Australian history has reached a major milestone, with a preferred alliance partner being selected for the nation-shaping project.

Vibrant artwork has brightened up South Road just outside Black Forest Primary School as part of the upgrade of the pedestrian actuated crossing.

The next section of resurfacing works on South Road as part of a comprehensive program being delivered by the T2D Project has commenced between Bennet Avenue, Melrose Park and Norrie Avenue, Clovelly Park.

A second left turn lane from Manton Street into Adam Street, Hindmarsh will provide additional capacity for city-bound traffic.
