Ground Investigation Works - Henry Street, Plympton
Location and timing
We will be carrying out investigations at Henry Street, Plympton.
Investigation works involving drilling, are expected to be carried out for approximately 1 day between 7am and 6pm during the week of Monday 22 January.
Prior to the scheduled date, our team will attend the works location for approximately 1-2 hours to select an appropriate location for the borehole drilling exercise. The road may be closed briefly to accommodate this activity.
Please note works are weather dependent and scheduling may be subject to change.
Traffic restrictions
- Henry Street will be closed at the corner of Anzac Highway for the duration of the works.
- Temporary traffic and speed restrictions will apply in the vicinity of the works.
- Local access will be maintained via a detour through Long Street and James Street.
- Signage will be in place to alert road users to the changes in traffic conditions. Road users are advised to take care when travelling through the area.
- Driveway access at locations adjacent to the works will be maintained for the duration.
What to expect
During works you may notice additional ground and traffic management personnel and equipment within the area. Some disturbances can be expected such as noise, dust and vibration.
