This temporary noise wall will assist with mitigating impacts associated with construction of the T2D Project. It will be in place until a permanent noise wall is installed at the end of the project. We will be seeking feedback from local residents about the type of artwork and landscaping they would like to see as part of the noise walls.

What’s happening

Works to install this noise wall, between English Avenue and Princes Parade, will commence week starting Monday 9 September 2024 for approximately 3 weeks. Works will be carried out between 7am and 5pm Monday to Saturday, weather permitting. Artwork and landscaping will be installed following construction of the noise walls.

How this affects you

During works you may notice additional ground traffic management personnel and equipment within the area. Some disturbances can be expected such as noise, dust and vibration caused by short term excavation and drilling works.
