Location and timing

Works to install the temporary noise walls on York Avenue are expected to begin Monday, 13 November.

These temporary noise walls will be built between:

  • York Avenue and Janet Street; and
  • Celtic Avenue and Princes Parade

These works will take approximately six weeks to complete and will be carried out between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Installation of the new footpath and landscaping will begin after the noise wall works have been completed.

What to expect

During works you may notice additional ground and traffic management personnel and equipment within the area.
Some disturbances can be expected such as noise, dust and vibration caused by short term excavation and drilling works.
