Over the next month we will be undertaking early investigation works at multiple locations on South Road and various main roads and side streets in preparation for resurfacing work along South Road as part of the River Torrens to Darlington Project.

Locations:
Works will be undertaken on South Road between Bennet Avenue, Melrose Park and Glengarry Avenue, Glandore, and will commence from Monday, 1 May 2023.

These works will be carried out Monday to Friday between 6pm and 7am. We’re working at night to minimise impacts on traffic and to ensure the safety of our workers. We only expect to be at each location for a short period of time.

Traffic Restrictions

  • Temporary traffic and speed restrictions will apply in the vicinity of the works.
  • Driveway and local streets access at locations adjacent to the works will be maintained.
  • Signage will be in place to alert road users to the changes in traffic conditions. Road users are advised to take care when travelling through the area.

What to expect:
During works you may notice additional ground and traffic management personnel and equipment within the area. Some disturbances can be expected such as noise, dust and vibration caused by short term excavation and drilling works.
