Project updates

We’re making it easier for people to get into the city, by adding an extra left-turn lane from Manton Street to Adam Street. Site establishment activities are now complete, and construction is underway.

Ahead of construction commencing next month, we will shortly be establishing our onsite compound within the Adelaide Entertainment Centre grounds.

Since we released an early concept design in May 2023, the project team has been considering the feedback received to refine the design.

The project will provide additional capacity for citybound traffic by adding an additional left turn lane from Manton Street into Adam Street (eastbound). It will also improve public transport efficiency, pedestrian and cyclist safety, and access to the River Torrens Linear Path.
