A three-metre-high temporary noise wall will be installed along the eastern side of Garland Street, Glandore. This will assist with mitigating impacts associated with construction of the T2D Project. It will be in place until a permanent noise wall is installed.

We will be seeking feedback from local residents about the type of artwork and landscaping they would like to see as part of the noise walls.

A temporary noise wall is also being constructed along Grosvenor Street.

What’s happening

Works to install this noise wall, between Maude Street and Pleasant Avenue, will commence week starting Monday 10 June 2024. Works will be carried out between 7am and 5pm Monday to Saturday, weather permitting.

Artwork and landscaping will be installed following construction of the noise walls.

How this affects you

During works you may notice additional ground and traffic management personnel and equipment within the area. Some disturbances can be expected such as noise, dust and vibration caused by short term excavation and drilling works.
