More than 1,000 businesses near the T2D Project play an important role in generating and supporting economic growth and prosperity in Adelaide and South Australia.
These local businesses represent a range of industries. This includes retail, manufacturing, construction, hospitality, healthcare and the arts.
Once operational, the T2D Project motorway will support Adelaide's and the state’s economic growth. Many of these businesses will benefit through:
improved connectivity
wider business catchment areas
reduced travel times and less traffic congestion.
As with any major infrastructure project in a busy urban environment, there will be a level of disruption for some local businesses.
We are working closely with local businesses to reduce construction impacts through targeted and effective mitigations. The level of disruption to business activity will vary depending on:
the location of the business
the type of construction activity
duration of works.
Engagement is underway to help us better understand the operational needs. We use a range of channels, including online surveys and one-on-one meetings. This informs our works program to minimise construction impacts wherever possible.
If you are a local business, you can get in touch with our T2D Project community engagement team.
Please contact our team to discuss your business needs. Email at T2DBusiness@sa.gov.au or call 1300 951 145.
