More than 1,000 businesses located near the T2D Project play an important role in generating and supporting economic growth and prosperity in Adelaide and South Australia.
These local businesses represent a range of industries, including retail, manufacturing, construction, hospitality, healthcare and the arts.
Once operational, the T2D motorway will support Adelaide and the state’s economic growth with many of these businesses benefiting through improved connectivity, wider business catchment areas, reduced travel times and less traffic congestion.
As with any major infrastructure project in a busy urban environment, there will be a level of disruption to day-to-day operations for some local businesses.
We are committed to working closely with local businesses to reduce the impacts of construction through targeted and effective mitigations. The level of disruption to business activity will vary depending on the location of the business, the type of construction activity and duration of works.
Engagement is already underway via a range of channels, including an online survey and one-on-one meetings to better understand the operational needs. This will help us inform our works program to minimise construction impacts wherever possible.

maintaining access to businesses for customers, vehicles and deliveries
managing noise, dust, vibration and overall business amenity.
